January 24, 2019 on the website of the Belfer Center of Harvard University, an article was published on the urgent problem of the arms control system ‘The problem of the INF Treaty: preventing a nuclear arms race in Europe. Forecasts from USA, Russia and Germany ‘. (The INF Quandary: Preventing a Nuclear Arms Race in Europe. Perspectives from the US, Russia and Germany).
The idea of a joint assessment of the future INF Treaty was implemented by a team of authors, among whom the scientific director of the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ph.D. Zolotarev Pavel Semenovich, with American – William Toby, senior researcher at the Belfer Center at Harvard University, and with German – Ulrich Kühn, deputy director for arms control and advanced technologies at the Institute for Peace and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg.
