Actual competitions of the Russian Science Foundation. Application deadline is December 20, 2019.

The Russian Science Foundation holds competitions:
1) “Conducting basic research and exploratory research on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation” (interdisciplinary projects)
Within the framework of an interdisciplinary project, scientific groups should carry out research in various fields of knowledge on the basis of two or three different Russian scientific organizations, Russian educational institutions of higher education, other Russian organizations, the constituent documents of which provide for the possibility of performing scientific research located on the territory of the Russian Federation international (interstate and intergovernmental) scientific organizations (hereinafter – the organizations) that are in compliance but in two or three non-adjacent to each other regions of the Russian Federation.
The project manager must have at least ten different publications on the subject of the project in peer-reviewed Russian and foreign scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection or Scopus databases published from January 1, 2015 years before the filing date.
The grant for the implementation of one interdisciplinary project is from 8 (Eight) to 15 (Fifteen) million rubles annually, while the amount of funding for each project can be from 4 (Four) to 6 (Six) million rubles per year (2020 – 2023) .
2) “Conducting basic research and exploratory research on behalf of (instructions) of the President of the Russian Federation” (leading scientists)
A mandatory requirement for the project is the annual participation in its implementation of at least two leading scientists who are required to make short-term (at least 1 month) visits to the organization to give lectures and participate (and / or organization) in seminars, schools of young researchers on the subject of the project, as well as for conducting research on the project.
The project manager must have at least ten different publications on the subject of the project in peer-reviewed Russian and foreign scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection or Scopus databases published from January 1, 2015 years before the filing date.
The size of one grant is from 5 (Five) to 8 (Eight) million rubles annually (2020 – 2022).
