April 18, 2018 in ISKRAN held a working meeting of the director of ISKRAN D.Sc. Garbuzova V.N. with the delegation of the Chinese Academy of Modern International Relations (CASMO) and researchers of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISI).

Feng Zhongping, vice president of CASMO, Li Dong, deputy director of the Institute of Russia CASMO, Chen Yu, researcher at the Institute of Russia CASMO and Shan Yue, researcher at the Institute of Russia CASMO took part in the meeting. From the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies – Kokarev KA, the head of the Center for Asia and the Asia-Pacific Region, Kryachkina Yu. A., a researcher at the Center for Asia and the Asia-Pacific and Glazova A. V., head of the Center for Transatlantic Studies.

During the meeting, the issues of the current state of Russian-American relations were touched upon, the peculiarities of the internal and foreign policy of the administration of D. Trump, including the prospects for cooperation between Russia and the United States on topical issues of world politics, were discussed.
