On February 12-13, 2019, the Donald Trump: two years at the White House international conference was held at the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Results and prospects. It was dedicated to discussing the results of the administration of the D. Trump by the end of 2018 – the so-called ‘equator’ of his first presidency. The program of the conference included a discussion of successes and failures in the main areas of activity of the American administration – in foreign, domestic, economic and military policies; the current state of the American political system was also analyzed. Conference participants, including their expert forecasts of the development of the situation in the above areas.
The work of the first day of the conference began with a plenary session, which was opened by the director of ISCRAN, Garbuzov Valery Nikolaevich, and the scientific director of ISCRAN, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergey Rogov. Presentations were made at the plenary by invited leading scientists from the OGPMO RAS – Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Fedor Genrikhovich Voitolovsky, Doctor of Political Sciences, Director of IMEMO named after EAT. Primakova RAS, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Natalya Ivanova Ivanovna, Doctor of Economics, First Deputy Director of IMEMO named after EAT. Primakova RAS, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gromyko Alexei Anatolyevich, Doctor of Political Sciences, Director of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Mikhailovich Davydov, Doctor of Economics, Scientific Director of the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences. As well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia Panov Alexander Nikolayevich, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Diplomacy, MGIMO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Chief Researcher at the Institute of the USA and Canada RAS, Editor-in-Chief of the journal ‘USA and Canada: Economics, Politics, Culture’ .
Then the conference continued in two sections:
‘US Socio-Economic and Domestic Politics’ under the supervision of the ISCRAN Research Director, Doctor of Economics Supyan Victor Borisovich
“US Foreign and Military Policy” under the direction of ISCRAN Zolotarev Pavel Semenovich
On the second day, the conference continued with work in two sections:

The conference ended with a plenary session, at which the results of the conference were summed up. Presentations were made by the heads of sections and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Mikhailovich Rogov.
