About the Center

 

The electronic research support sector was established in January 2006 on the basis of the Center for Current Information, which was a part of the Scientific Information Department of ISCRAN. The sector is a scientific and auxiliary unit of the Institute. Its main task is to provide technical and informational support to the research activities of the Institute. Employees of the sector are working on the organization and maintenance of various reference and information bases, in particular, the electronic database of scientific works of ISCRAN employees. The EIES is also responsible for the presentation of ISKRAN in the scientific information Internet space SOTSIONET and ENIS. Within the framework of the RGNF grant project, EEI staff created and maintains the electronic portal ‘Electronic Library of Russian American Studies’ AMERICA.RU ”.
