ISCRAN is the leader in world rankings

ISCRAN continues to hold a leading position in research in the fields of external
politics, international relations, as well as defense and national security. IN
In February 2020, the annual (thirteenth) issue of the Global Brainwave Index
Centers “2019” (Eng. – “2019 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report”), published by the Pennsylvania
University (USA) since 2007
The report provides a rating of the “think tanks” of the world, compiled from a survey
scientists – representatives of more than 8000 scientific organizations, as well as state
figures, experts and journalists.
According to the report “Global think tank index 2019”, ISCRAN maintains
its positions and continues to appear in four sections of the rating and takes:
• 2nd place among Russian think tanks and 40th in the ranking of the best world
Think tanks involved in defense research and national
security;
• 4th place among Russian think tanks and 135th in the ranking of leading world
Think tanks involved in foreign policy research and international
relationship;
• 6th place among Russian think tanks and 26th in the ranking of the best think tanks
centers ”of Central and Eastern Europe;
• 2nd place among Russian think tanks and 28th in the ranking of the best
regional brain centers (with freely defined status).

On January 30, 2020, annual events coincided with the release of the report, under
generic name “Significance of the activity of brain centers”: prospects and political
influence ”, which took place in more than 145 organizations in 85 countries. On these
events assesses the role that “brain centers” play in shaping
national and international politics. Panelists traditionally emphasize
the importance of international cooperation to address key policy challenges
before countries in the era of turbulent trends of the last decade in world politics.
