On May 12-12, 2018, the XXVI Russian-American seminar “210 years of Russian-American diplomatic relations” was held at St. Petersburg State University. On his discussion platform, he united university and academic science, and its participants presented a wide geography.
During the seminar, topical international and regional problems of Russian-American relations in the political and economic spheres were discussed.
Director of ISKRAN D.Sc. V.N. Garbuzov spoke at the first plenary session of the seminar on the impact of complex modern domestic political processes in the political establishment of the United States on the foreign policy course of the administration of D. Trump. He also assessed the medium-term prospects for Russian-American relations.
