May 17-19, 2018, the delegation of ISKRAN took part in the First International Scientific Forum “Personality, Society and State in the History of the West and East” in Kazan

May 17-19, 2018 the delegation of ISKRAN visited the Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University, where took part in the work of the 1st International Scientific Forum “Personality, Society and State in the History of the West and East”. The organizers of the Forum were the Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University, the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies, the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Society of Intellectual History (Kazan Branch). The large-scale event was attended by more than 150 people. Experts from the academic environment and staff of higher education institutions discussed the problems of universal history and the issues of the relationship between the individual, society and the state from ancient times to the present day.
In the work of the Forum, the Director of ISKRAN, Doctor of Science, took part and made presentations. V.N. Garbuzov, Deputy Director of ISKRAN Ph.D. V.B. Supyan, President of the Russian Society for the Study of Canada Ph.D. T.R. Kuzmina.
Within the framework of the Forum in the show room of the Higher School of Journalism and Media Communications of the Kazan Federal University an open discussion took place on the topic “Current state and prospects of Russian-American relations”.
