150 years of the Canadian Federation:

from the British Dominion to the global player

April 7-8, 2017, under the auspices of the St. Petersburg State University, the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISCRAN) and the Russian Society for the Study of Canada (ROIC), as well as the Moscow-Quebec Educational and Research Center at the Russian State University for the Humanities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Russia, the Embassy of Canada in the Russian Federation and the Government of St. Petersburg hosted the VI Canadian Readings on the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Federation: from the British Dominion to the Global Player.

The international scientific conference is held at the St. Petersburg State University at: ul. Smolny, 1/3, Smolny, 8th entrance. The opening of the conference and the work of the plenary session were attended by the Director of the Institute of the USA and Canada, RAS, Dr.Sc. Professor V.N. Garbuzov and the senior researcher. ISKRAN, Ph.D. T.R. Kuzmina, President of the Russian Society for the Study of Canada and other members of the ISCRAN and members of the ROCC.
